Therapy is about learning self-forgiveness and building confidence. It is about learning that you are not always at fault for the things that have happened to you and you do not have to keep tolerating the pain.

Asking for help is brave and smart. Having a therapist who can understand and maybe even relate to what you have gone through can help you to see things through clear eyes and help you to release hurt while learning ways that will help you to grow and take action on your life is such a treasure. Having a therapist also means having an accountability partner that will help you to look deeper into your choices that may be hindering your growth. Accountability and responsibility is one of the real secrets to change.
It’s all about learning that you are worth life…..a good life…..and you do not have to do life alone.

HERE'S HOW I CAN HELP
It is okay to ask for the help…. everyone will benefit from your growth!!!!
I’m trained to provide specialized psychosocial evaluations to support USCIS applications.
Immigration evaluations, also known as immigration psychological evaluations or hardship evaluations, are mental health assessments that help immigration courts decide if someone should be allowed to stay in the United States. They can be used in many immigration cases, including those involving: Extreme hardship waivers, VAWA, DACA, U-Visas, T-Visas, and Asylum.
-
Immigration evaluations are important because they provide crucial evidence for legal cases. An evaluation is often the deciding factor in whether someone can escape life-threatening circumstances in their home country or whether a family can stay together.
-
Evaluations can provide valuable insight into an individual's mental health and how it has been impacted by the immigration process. They can also help immigration authorities understand any potential hardships the individual might face if deported. This information can be instrumental in strengthening an immigration case and proving the need for relief or protection.

My "Specialized Approach"
I work with Individuals and couples who are experiencing distress due to life adjustments that are causing a significant impairment in social or occupational (academic) functioning. Some of these impairments are due to the strong reaction of stress or trauma that leaves them feeling extremely worried and anxious as well as depressed. Other symptoms include feeling at odds with yourself and the decisions that you make, questioning your self-worth, questioning where you are in life or where you are heading in your future, feeling agitated, feelings of hopelessness and despair, worry, difficulty concentrating, being tearful, relationship conflict, internal conflict and behavior disruption.
So whether you are an individual struggling through life and just need a really good cry or to embrace the really messy and beautiful parts of life that can be difficult to take on alone, or you may be in a relationship/marriage trying to figure out if you want to grow apart or together and need help with the adjustments which can cause conflict, anxiety, depression, communication issues, intimacy issues etc. therapy is a great place to start.
